Paper hats

The first assignment in 3D foundations AD 100B is to construct a visually interesting, conceptually informed, structurally sound and wearable “hat” out of butcher paper and masking tape. This project will facilitate a greater understanding of line, shape, form, function, media, and structure using humble materials project requires students to create a head adornment only using masking tape and butcher paper. This project introduces students to the studio environment and expected workload of the semester.
